Sometimes when I put on a coat or cardigan, I just leave my hair in it. I always hope someone will think I drastically cut my hair, but no one ever does.
Last night I drank a good amount of tequila in honor of the 5th of May. I also found out that I really don’t like the taste of it. I had a small conversation with a woman at Safeway when going to get ice with Ariana. She commented how champagne sounded good, but didn’t seem like something you would drink on Cinco de Mayo. To which I replied:
“It’s not very festive, but it’s an old favorite.”
This morning I woke up not hungover and I still looked really good. I don’t know how the hell that happened. My makeup wasn’t even smeared.
Later on I had lunch with Byron and my brother Kyle. We talked about music for more than an hour. It was so nice to talk about ideas and the ways we approach song writing (since we all have differing styles). Very refreshing. After lunch we went to the mall to get my Mom a present for Mother’s day. Being in Bath and Body Works with two boys was so funny and entertaining. That store also broke my nose. As in: I can’t smell anything other than cucumbers and vanilla now. Oh lawd.
